I studied Graphic Design, Illustration and Fashion many moons ago in London. After completing my degree I spent the first half of my career in publishing. Working as a Designer and Art Director for trendy style and fashion magazines such as Sleazenation and Arena.
In early 2010, after nine months months on the road through India and Southeast Asia, I arrived in Sydney. I worked as an Art Director at Bauer Media across titles Gourmet Traveller, Men’s Style, and BELLE while working my way through Award School, I finished in the top 10.
Following Award and becoming an Australian Citizen, I joined Channel Nine as Lead Art Director for their in-house creative department, Powered. I studied Digital Design and UX at Tractor Design School, creating responsive sites, apps, and multi-platform projects.
After Nine I moved onto M&C Saatchi, followed by Campaign Edge.
I’m a hands-on Art Director with a thorough knowledge of the creative and design process, being able to jump on the tools when necessary. The latter coming after creating client-ready scamps and storyboards that visually communicate ideas. I work just as well autonomously as I do in a team.
When I’m not working, I’m getting out on my bike every other morning for training rides.
I enjoy getting creative in the kitchen. My skills here have come a long way, from once cutting off and cooking the wrong end of a bunch of Asparagus… to now being a pretty competent home cook, with an ability to rustle up something tasty when I’m told: “there’s no food in this house!?!”
Drop me an email sometime.
